Classic Football Shirts started back in 2006, when founders Matt and Doug should have been revising for their finals at Manchester University. With the World Cup fast approaching, Doug had been really keen to get hold of an original Germany 1990’ shirt but with no success. From there, the pair decided to try and build a small collection of shirts in that hope that they could fill a gap in the market and launch a professional website. Starting with around 200 hand-picked football shirts, by 2011 the business had moved to a warehouse next to Manchester's Etihad Stadium so they could expand their range even further. In 2010, they purchased over 50,000 units of kitroom stock directly from AC Milan including shirts, jackets and even underpants!
